Assisted Birth of Baby Grace born on 26^th March 2010 (RPA Labour Ward)

I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl at the RPA in March, with no partner and my family overseas I was anxious to find a doula that could support me during my birth.  Jenny was fantastic and took on the role of mother, friend and partner with ease.  Her support during the birth was wonderful.  I felt calm with the hypo birthing and when there were some complications I felt safe with Jenny’s support; secure with the knowledge that Jenny would be my advocate.  It was an amazing experience and I do believe that my calm and happy baby is a result of such a positive birth.
